Wildflower Identification Using Newcomb's Wildflower Guide
Newcomb's Wildflower Guide, although 37 years old, remains the best
identification tool for flowering plants of northeastern North America.
During this program participants were shown the steps for using the
number-based key invented by Lawrennce Newcomb, then given an opportunity
to identify plants in the bioswales near the water department.
Here, Elizabeth Wylde, on left, guides attendee through identification
          of a Black-eyed Susan.
